World Cup winner Ox Nché rewarded with Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme
• Winner of the Rugby World Cup, Ox' Nché, has been awarded a Triton Xtreme by Mitsubishi Motors South Africa.
• The Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme, like Nché, is the perfect blend of serious business and light recreation.
• If you're looking for the pinnacle of double-cab bakkies, go no further than the Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme.

Springbok prop who won the World Cup Ox' Nché has picked Mitsubishi Motors South Africa as its partner. After the Springboks won their second straight William Webb Ellis Trophy, a presentation event was held at Mitsubishi Motors Ballito to honor Nché with the gift of a Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme.

Retshegofaditswe 'Ox' Nché, who made his Springboks debut in 2018 against Wales, earned his moniker for his ferocity in the scrum and in breakdowns. Since then, the Springboks have relied on this strong loosehead prop.

To have one's cake and eat it too

Currently, Nché is trending on Instagram due to his clever phrases, such as "Salads don't win scrums," which he posts with photos of himself indulging on his favorite sweets.
The Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme is a serious workhorse, but it also knows how to let its hair down and have a good time, just like Nché.

"After an impressive Rugby World Cup win, Ox' Nché deserves to have his cake and eat it, and Mitsubishi Motors are proud to support this impressive Springboks player with a Triton Xtreme," says Jeffrey Allison, General Manager: Marketing at Mitsubishi Motors South Africa (MMSA).
A person like Ox Nché would be an ideal fit for Mitsubishi's top-of-the-line 4x4 double cab, the Triton Xtreme, which, as Allison points out, is designed specifically for owners who lead active, intense lives. Mitsubishi's Triton has reached its pinnacle form in the Xtreme variant.

The Triton Xtreme is the pinnacle of the Mitsubishi Triton double cab lineup, with a beautiful, bold, and daring exterior design and a plethora of optional equipment that boosts the truck's already formidable off-road capabilities.
The Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme has received several cosmetic upgrades that will make it stand out from the crowd. Complimenting the Dynamic Shield front design idea is a unique new black bumper and grill combination as well as bonnet protector and headlight covers.

The black Kekosport-style bar and the Xtreme logo stickers on the doors and roof rack are both practical and contribute to the vehicle's more intimidating appearance.
The frosting on the cake is the fender flare package complete with visible bolt fittings, giving the Triton Xtreme a wider, more aggressive stance. A-line alloy wheels in black, wrapped in tough All-Terrain tires, fill out those flared fenders.

The Triton Xtreme's cargo box is protected with a tonneau cover and rubber lining placed by professionals. The improvements to the vehicle's back end are finished off with a Bosal tow bar.

The inside of the Mitsubishi Triton Xtreme is plush and refined. The soft pad materials and stitching on the floor console, armrests, and parking brake provide a high-quality design, while a frame surrounds the switch panel and air outlets for added flair. The leather-wrapped, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel has radio and cruise control buttons as well as other functions. Nché can stay in touch with his friends and listen to his music without a hitch thanks to features like Bluetooth and smartphone mirroring with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Successfully implemented technology

The Triton Xtreme is equipped with Mitsubishi's reliable 2.4L MIVEC turbodiesel engine, which produces 133kW at 3 500rpm and 430Nm at 2 500rpm and is paired with a seamless shifting six-speed automatic transmission with Intelligent Shift Control. Ox will be transported in style and comfort, whether on the way to training or the bakery down the street.

Mitsubishi's newest Super-Select II 4WD technology, standard on all 4WD Triton models, provides outstanding grip and handling in a wide range of road conditions. The Triton Xtreme and other automatic gearbox variants include an off-road mode with selectable settings for gravel, mud/snow, sand, and rock. When used, off-road mode modifies the vehicle's engine output, gearbox ratio, and brakes to control the amount of wheel slide, improving both traction and maneuverability off-road and during self-extraction.

High-impact crashes are mitigated by the Triton Xtreme's RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) Body Construction, which includes crumple zones. Safety features include side impact prevention bars, Isofix, and a seven-airbag system. The Super Select II 4WD system is improved by electronic off-road assistance via Hill Descent Control, which adds to off-road security. Together, S-AWC and Active Stability and Traction Control offer the highest level of protection for the vehicle's occupants and the driver.
With Allison's last words, "Mitsubishi Motors South Africa are really excited to have a formidable player like Ox Nché as part of the family and behind the wheel of a vehicle that we believe perfectly dovetails with his personality," the company's enthusiasm is clear.

Guaranteed peace of mind is included.

Mitsubishi South Africa backs all Triton models with a three-year/100,000-kilometer manufacturer's warranty, a five-year/90,000-kilometer service plan, and five years of unlimited miles of roadside support. Each 10,000 kilometers requires a service visit.
