Zimoco delighted to put a smile on Zimboz faces

…as it launches Jeep Service Promotion

By Almot Maqolo

Buying a car is one of the biggest investments you will make in your lifetime, usually second only to purchasing a new home. But it is extremely important to maintain your vehicle if you wish to have it in excellent working condition for an extended period.

A reputable garage will have trained mechanics on site ready to fully examine your car to ensure it will be in the right condition.

Zimoco, the country’s biggest vehicle distributing company, has launched a Jeep Service Promotion which runs from today up to the end of June this year as part of cushioning customers from the challenging economic environment.
The market is characterised by inflationary pressures and exchange volatility which have eroded incomes. On the other hand, the country’s roads are in bad shape which resulted in some cars being grounded as maintenance fees are a bit high.

Majority of motorists continue to be duped by fly by night garages because of their lucrative service fees. However, their problems would remain unsolved after churning a large amount of money if the total calculated is enough to seek the services of reputable companies.
Having your car regularly serviced helps to keep you safe on the road.

Zimoco Aftersales Manager William Sibanda told this publication that the service promotion is about the company giving its customers an opportunity to access the very best service for their vehicles at a more affordable price.
“We all need a break in the current season we are in as a country,” he said.

The promotion is running from the 16th May 2002 until the 30th of June 2022 or while stocks last.
Cars which qualify for the promotion includes, generally all Jeep and Chrysler products qualify e.g Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Compass, Dodge Nitro, Dodge Caliber, Dodge Journey and Chrysler 300C.

Car service helps to keep your car in good condition and subsequently deter unwanted car problems. Regular car maintenance often includes an oil change, if necessary, fluid checks, tire pressure checks, and brake inspections. Of late, the prices of the service kit have been beyond the reach of many.

“We recognise that with what our customers have been facing, it has been difficult to keep up with service schedules which are all important in ensuring that their vehicles keep running optimally,” said Sibanda.
“This promotion is a window for them to catch up on services which may be due or overdue.”

The service promotion is a win-win situation between the company and customers.
“Our clients get access to quality approved parts and technical expertise at a more affordable price. This means they can be assured that their vehicles are being fitted with quality approved parts by qualified and trained technicians,” he said.

“This ensures that these vehicles will have extended service life and better resale value with a ZIMOCO service record. As ZIMOCO we wish to see our valued customers continue to enjoy our brands, which are iconic vehicles the world over.”
The services are being done at the company’s Workington workshop at 24 Douglas Rd and at Borrowdale workshop at Sam Levy Village.
